Verification & data quality
The 3 tiers of a B2B lead (and which one you need)
A B2B lead can come in three enrichment tiers — ICP-Segmented, Enriched + Verified, and Premium/Specialized — each with more data and more verification than the last, and a price that rises accordingly.
A B2B lead can come in three enrichment tiers — ICP-Segmented, Enriched + Verified, and Premium/Specialized — each with more data and more verification than the last, and a price that rises accordingly.
Tier 1 — ICP-Segmented
The base tier: contact data that meets the defined filters — location, company size, job title. It's the right starting point when what you need is volume for a long-term nurture campaign, not immediate contact.
Tier 2 — Enriched + Verified
Adds to the previous tier: identified decision-maker, confirmed title, professional email, phone number, LinkedIn profile — plus one-by-one verification of email and phone. It's the tier most sales teams end up using, because it balances data quality with cost.
Tier 3 — Premium/Specialized
Everything in Tier 2, plus additional hard-to-find signals: recent hiring, office expansion, new licenses — the kind of information that signals a company is in an active buying moment, not just a fit for the profile.
How do you pick the right tier?
It isn't unusual to combine tiers within the same strategy: Tier 1 for nurture volume, Tier 3 for the short list of highest-value accounts worth the extra cost per contact.
Frequently asked questions
Is Tier 3 always the best option?
Not necessarily — if your strategy depends more on volume than on intent signals, Tier 1 or 2 may perform better for the same budget.
Can I request a block with mixed tiers?
Yes, it's common practice: different tiers for different segments within the same list.
